AlaGeo is a location notification app that triggers alarms based on entering/exiting location region designated on your device. AlaGeo ranges can be defined by: 1) GPS coordinates 2) Current GPS location 3) Address 4) Contacts info 5) Dropping a pin on the map You also define the range radius how far away you should be from a location before AlaGeo notifies you. AlaGeo provides great accuracy of alerting with efficient battery usage. However, you can change the settings to make the app be either more accurate or save more battery life. If AlaGeo is terminated and some AlaGeo ranges are still enabled, notifications are sent to the device to suggest to the user to keep AlaGeo running. Features: 1) Allow AlaGeo range around location region, and detect when entering/exiting the region. 2) Enable/disable alerts for device entering/exiting an AlaGeo range. 3) Notification including AlaGeo range name, coordinates/address on the map, date and time, entering/exiting, and sender name plus a message from the sender if the alert is triggered on another device. 4) Simple map view shows your device s current location and all AlaGeo ranges. 5) Allow the pausing of all active AlaGeo ranges. 6) Allow users to send AlaGeo ranges to another iPhone, and receive notification from the alert triggered by an AlaGeo range on that device. 7) Easy to use, no need to register. 8) No detail location of your device is recorded or shown. AlaGeo is only interested in the entering/exiting events on AlaGeo ranges. 9) Silent mode for AlaGeo ranges. 10) History of location ranges entering/exiting events. 11) Scheduling AlaGeo ranges, such as certain date period, or certain days of week. Usage: 1) Alerts when approaching the destination during commutes or travel. 2) Remotely assist other users to setup AlaGeo ranges by sending AlaGeo ranges to their devices via SMS where they can accept the new ranges just by taping on the message. 3) Get notification when a specified user enters or exits a preset region. 4) Much more Examples: On a field trip, let you kid s device notify you when the device approaches a location you defined earlier so you could get ready to pick up you kid without being late. This app may use your location even when it isn t open, which can decrease device battery life. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
